毎日暑いですね(これを書いているときは夏)。
汗で肌がペタペタします。
ん、ぺたぺた？
そういうときは、PetaLinuxだ！
・・・済みません、疲れてます。

なんとなくこうじゃないか、でEthernet PHYを解決するのは無理そうなことが分かってきたが、エラーも出ないのでよくわからないという状況だ。
前回の最後で、Hardentというところのファイルを2つダウンロードしたのだけど、眺めてもそれっぽいものが見当たらなかった。
まあ、見て分かるほど熟練していないせいかもしれないが、少なくとも簡単にわかりそうなものはなかった。

方針としては、Generic PHYではなく、ZYBOで使われているRTL8211EのPHYを探す、ということにした。
もし見つかって、入れてもダメだったら、また考えよう。

となると、まずはkernelのconfigからだろう。
PetaLinuxではpetalinux-configを使っているが、そもそもどういうオプションがあるのだろうか。

「-c kernel」でkernelの設定ができたのだが、kernelとrootfs以外にcomponentがあるのだろうか？

まあいい、普通にkernelのconfigを見ておこう。

うーん、いきなり当てが外れた。
悔しいので、他のPHYは外して、RealtekとXilinxの2つ(画像の下2つ)にチェックしてみよう。

Ethernet Driverもたくさんあるけど、Cadence MACB/GEM、Intel PRO/100 PCI-Express Gigabit、Intel(82586/82593/82596)、あとはXilinx devicesをデフォルトのままにしてみる。

うん、ダメだね。
Generic PHYだったよ。

それ自体はもうよいのだけど、kernelのconfigまで気にしだしたということは変数が2つになったということなので、もしどちらも条件が一致しないと動作しないようであれば、ますます解決が難しくなりそうだ。

まあ、疲れているときに考えてもよいアイデアは出ないので、寝よう。
